Chauri Belha Mahavidyalaya was registered on September 1, 1995. It is a private undaided college.
The college is affiliated to Veer Bahadur Purvanchal University, Jaunpur. The college got affiliation from the university in 1995 to start undergraduate classes. Ten years later in 2005, the university granted the college permission to start Bachelor of Education (B Ed) classes.
National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the Government of India body, gave recognition to the college for running B Ed classes, vide NCTE order no. F. NRC/NCTE/F-3/UP-1956/10549 dated September 25, 2005.
